Extra movies demonstrating matteing
These movies show the stages in building up a character with tones - in this case the clown used throughout the demonstration material:
Matte_Blurred
This shows the blurred clown tone matte.
Matte_Applied
This shows the matte applied to a a dark tone of the clown. The dark tone was created by applying a second "tone" palette to the clown.
Matted_Final
This shows the final result. The applied matte is overlaid on the original version of the clown using its normal output palette.
